Meet change-maker Khristopher Nicholas

Watch the inspiring story of Khristopher Nicholas, a 2024 Be Good Foundation and Rebecca’s Private Idaho scholarship recipient. In this video, Khris shares how the bike has become a catalyst for personal growth, connection, and empowerment, embodying the mission of Be Good. Though faced with many challenges since birth, they didn't stop Khris from moving forward, pushing past his pain, and experiencing the freedom of the bike. Biking has transformed his physical capabilities and opened doors to new adventures. Khris's journey of conquering physical obstacles and celebrating the spirit of cycling will motivate and inspire you.

Khristopher wrote, "Emotionally/spiritually: for a long time, cycling was an individualistic reclamation of feeling able, powerful, and healthy. In recent years, I've been so so so grateful that cycling has become synonymous with community. I have built a community of fellow BIPOC and differently-abled cyclists around the U.S. This community has shown me the importance of relying on, supporting, and nurturing one another....I think many BIPOC and para-cyclists foster this individualistic reclamation as a defense mechanism that confers resilience in a world that is less than welcoming. But we can do so much more together, in support of one another. And so 'be good' to me means, above all, be good together, because no one should have to go it alone."
